Come and Join Us

This two-part orientation session is for people who are interested in learning more about Good Shepherd and becoming a member of the congregation. In light of our communal life together as “one church two campuses,” we will hold one session at each of our Madison and Verona campuses followed by the Sunday worship service at that location. Participants are welcomed and introduced during the worship service immediately following the second session.
During the two session we will cover the following:

  1. Introducing you to Good Shepherd and allowing time for you to meet one another.
  2. What does it mean to be a Christian in the Lutheran tradition in this day and age?
  3. What is Good Shepherd Church all about?
  4. What can I expect from this relationship?

Perfect attendance is not required, but we hope your schedule allows you to be at both sessions as we explore some of the trends in the life of our church community, become better acquainted, and capture a vision of where Good Shepherd has been and where we are going. Nursery care is provided at both campuses during these times if needed, and church school will be in full swing for older kids.

If you would like to meet with any of the pastors before this class, please call 271-6633 to schedule a time to discuss any questions or concerns you might have.  Thanks so much, we look forward to connecting with you soon. You can call the same number to RSVP as well. Or email the volunteer coordinator Donna Maysack at
