Conversations on Faith and Race

Join our monthly conversation about why we, as Christians, need to talk about race and how to do it.  This follow-up to our Witnessing Whiteness series is meant to continue the conversation about racial disparity and why people of faith need to talk about it.

Led by Pastor Dara Schuller-Hanson ( and Susi Petta (

Thursday Noon Bible Study
Join fellow Good Shepherd members in the Good Shepherd Room at the Madison Campus from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for a weekly small group Bible Study.

Contemplative Life Small Group

If you are interested in developing a more contemplative life for a deeper relationship with God, a small group is here to support you in that journey.  We would love to have you join us to learn about Centering Prayer and other contemplative practices such as meditation, labyrinth, and spiritual disciplines. We will be gathering the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30pm in the Chapel at Verona to learn together, share, and “sit” together in the wonderful space of silence with our Lord.  All are welcome! Contact Becky Baumbach , 239-0221 or Susi Petta, 712-9539

Holy Yoga

Holy yoga is an hour-long class during which you engage in breath work, heart opening, meditation on scripture, and more to get closer to God and attain inner peace. Classes are held on Tuesdays at 8:30am and 6:00pm at the Verona campus in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. The classes are free, but a $5 donation is suggested that will go to a variety of charitable causes, such as Team World Vision for the fall season. Fall classes are offered September 18th-November 20th. For further information or if you have any questions, contact Becky Baumbach at
