DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, January 17th\, 2024 at 6:30 in Peterson Hall at the Madison campus\, Good Shepherd is hosting a discussion on Judaism and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict with Rabbis Jonathan Biatch and Bonnie Margulis. \nOur guest speakers will provide a quick overview of 4000 years of Jewish history\, focusing on Jewish connection to the land of Israel and the history of persecution in the Diaspora around the world.  Then they will delve in more detail into the history and political realities of the last 100 years\, leading to the creation of the state of Israel and the roots and realities of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that brought us to today.

Learn how this issue affects us all and what you can do to help curb the problem. \nMember\, Diane Hanson\, Founder of United Madison\, and in partnership with Zeteo Community\, will be providing a free training on Sex Trafficking/Commercial Sexual Exploitation on January 24 from 6:30-8pm in the Peterson Hall at the Madison Campus. \nTrafficking is a significant issue happening in Madison and it does look differently than what we might expect.
