DESCRIPTION:The service is Friday\, March 15 at 1 pm with Visitation at Noon and coffee and refreshments to immediately follow in Peterson Hall.\nThis will be a Memorial Service with an urn.  So sanctuary will need to set with table up front and blue table cloth on table.\nBrent – Cress will bring easels.  We do need the rolling monitor set in the lobby and plugged in over by the Lutheran Resources board.   We’ll need the usual set up in the lobby with podium and table with table cloth as well.  Please set up Good Shepherd room as well.\nRonda and Brent – we’re planning on 150 at this time for refreshments.  Please set Peterson Hall accordingly and recruit 3 luncheon servers.  TnT will be providing cookies and bars as well as coffee\, lemonade and water.

DESCRIPTION:Who’s Ready for a Cook-Off? \nThe Chili Cook-off and Pie Auction is back! Friday March 15 from 6 – 8 p.m. at our Verona Campus. It is a family friendly night of intergenerational fun! A great place to meet or invite a friend. \nThis beloved event raises money for our HS youth summer travels. This summer they will be attending the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans from July 15 – 21. . This is an opportunity for our youth to worship\, serve\, play\, and stretch their Spirits alongside 20\,000 other young Lutherans from around the world.  Good Shepherd has a long history of supporting our youth through experiences of travel and pilgrimage and we look forward to taking a big crew down to the Bayou this summer. \nCome and Dine.\nYour ticket gets you in the door to enjoy pie and custard\, homemade cornbread\, coffee and lemonade\, and all the chili fixins. Individual cups of chili are pay-what -you-like throughout the night\, enjoy as much as you like! We will mix and mingle\, eat and fellowship from 6:00 – 7:00 before we announce the winners and begin the pie auction! It’s all in fun and a great place to enjoy the gift of feeding others! \nIn addition\, the Pie Auction welcomes classic and exotic pies made with love and ready to sell! You bring your pie in a plate with your name and number on it or a disposable pan.
