DESCRIPTION:When: Thursday\, June 19 at 5:30 p.m. Where: Western Hills Park \nJoin us for a special joint worship service with Orchard Ridge UCC at Western Hills Park. Pastor Dara and Pastor Julia from Orchard Ridge UCC will lead us in a meaningful service of prayer and Holy Communion as we honor Juneteenth. The Holy COW Food Truck will serve a pay-what-you-can meal beginning at 5:30 p.m.\, with worship starting at 6:00 p.m. Meal proceeds will help cover food costs and support the Meadowood rental assistance program through Keeping Neighbors Connected.  Good Shepherd has an ongoing ministry partnership with Orchard Ridge UCC.

DESCRIPTION:June 30 – The Night Painters  \nIndie rock band The Night Painters is based in Madison\, Wisconsin\, but it started as a Seattle project in 2018. Al Knox (founder: vocals\, guitar) connected with local Madison legends Harry Hochwarter (bass) and Luke Stanton (drums) who have recently helped The Night Painters maintain a footing in Madison’s live music scene. In late 2024\, the band released their sophomore album Fence of Perfect Lines\, which explores life’s trajectory and whether there’s anything we can do about it.\nJoin us this summer as we bring the joy of music\, good food\, and community beyond our walls and into the streets!
