DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Good Shepherd Food Pantry with a special combined worship service on Sunday\, January 26\, at 9 a.m. at our Madison Campus. Pastor Brent Campbell will return to the pulpit to preach. Please note: there will be no services at the Verona campus that day. After the service\, we’ll host a reception with cake\, a Food Pantry Open House\, and a mini Outreach Fair. To mark this milestone\, we’re aiming to collect 2\,025 food items in honor of the occasion! Please bring your food donations to worship that day—but no soup! Save your soup for our Souper Bowl event in February. Come celebrate 20 years of feeding our neighbors and help us look ahead to continuing this vital ministry together! \n

DESCRIPTION:It’s Time to Play in Souper Bowl XXIV – You Can Help Tackle Hunger\nFebruary 2 is the Kick-off to Souper Bowl XXIV at the 6 p.m. service.\nPlay continues during the week at AMPED and the Little Blessings Pre-schools and Verona 4K.\nSouper Bowl Sunday is February 9th at the 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. services.\n\nYou are welcome to bring your soup during Souper Bowl Week\nBuilding hours at Madison are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. –\n3:30 p.m; Verona – Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. AND Friday 8:30 a.m. – Noon\, both campuses.\n\nPreferred soups include ramen noodles\, chicken noodle\, chicken with rice\, cream of mushroom\, cream of chicken & any chunky style soups. No tomato soup\, please. All the soup goes to the three Food Pantries supported by Good Shepherd: The Good Shepherd\, Allied and Badger Prairie Needs Network.\n\nWe are also asking for your help with monetary donations. The Pantry Coordinators can use the money to purchase needed food and other items given at the Food Pantries. Checks can be made to Good Shepherd with Souper Bowl in the memo line. You can also donate online at gslcwi.com/SouperBowl. Select 30-Souper Bowl from the drop-down selections under General Fund.\n\nOur goal is 2\,052 cans of soup\, more than the 2\,051 cans of soup donated during Souper Bowl XXIII.
