SUMMARY:The Chosen | Dinner and Discussion
DESCRIPTION:This Lent we’re going to gather around the stories of the Gospel in a new way – creating opportunities to encounter and discuss the story of Jesus with the Good Shepherd community. The Chosen is a multi-season television show that takes a deep look at Jesus and the lives of those he encountered as he began his ministry. This series presents the stories of those Jesus encounters with nuance\, depth and a focus on historical accuracy. \nStarting on Tuesday\, February 28 we will gather each Tuesday night in Peterson Hall at the Madison Campus to watch an episode\, share a simple meal and engage in large and small group discussion about the episode.\nThe evenings will start with a free community meal at 5:30 p.m. with the episode playing as people eat together. Following the episode\, there will be conversations around each table and as a large group.
