DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, January 17th\, 2024 at 6:30 in Peterson Hall at the Madison campus\, Good Shepherd is hosting a discussion on Judaism and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict with Rabbis Jonathan Biatch and Bonnie Margulis. \nOur guest speakers will provide a quick overview of 4000 years of Jewish history\, focusing on Jewish connection to the land of Israel and the history of persecution in the Diaspora around the world.  Then they will delve in more detail into the history and political realities of the last 100 years\, leading to the creation of the state of Israel and the roots and realities of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that brought us to today.

DESCRIPTION:Due to the predicted extremely hot weather\, we have decided to move the Thursday worship to Sugar River United Methodist Church in Verona. The Holy COW will be in the Sugar River UMC parking lot serving up delicious food starting at 5:30 and people will eat and we will worship in air conditioned comfort. DESCRIPTION:The Norma Jean Quilters Group makes quilts to donate to Lutheran World Relief and to send to Pine Ridge. The group makes almost 100 quilts a year! While the tops of the quilts are made from small pieces of donated fabric\, the group needs donated sheets for the backs. Drop off sheets\, flat\, fitted\, regular or flannel\, and pillowcases of any size at Madison Campus.
