Identifying Future Leaders of Good Shepherd
Strong, engaged Lay Leadership at all levels of our Church is key. At Good Shepherd, we have the Nominating Committee to review candidates that are identified as possessing qualities for visionary and strategic church leadership at the Church Board level.
The Nominating Committee is defined as part of the governance structure of our church under Article C13.02 of the Church Constitution. Article C13.02 defines the Nominating Committee as comprising “the Lead Pastor and three (3) voting members of this Congregation elected at the Annual Meeting for a term of three (3) years. Members of the Nominating Committee shall not be eligible for consecutive reelection.” It is our practice to stagger the three-year terms for each committee member.
