Good Shepherd welcomes all children and families to grow in faith, build relationships and find community. From playgroup and family events, to Sunday morning church school and summer camps, we offer a variety of opportunities for families to begin their faith journey together.

Good Shepherd Kids: Birth to Three
Good Shepherd Kids: Three Years Old to Fifth Grade
Church School
Hands-on activities, music and Bible learning for kids Age 3-5th grade. Church School is held during worship at 9:00 a.m. at our Madison campus, and 10:00 a.m. at our Verona campus.
Classes begin Sunday, September 14, 2025 and new families can join anytime!
Children's Choirs
Children's choirs are held twice a month after church school at each campus. For more information about children's choirs, contact Amy Hartsough

First Communion

Parent Drop-Off Nights!
Good Shepherd Kids hosts two parent drop-off nights each year: Christmas Camp and Share the Love Camp! These fun-filled evenings in December and February give children a chance to enjoy dinner, games, activities, crafts, and time with friends while caregivers enjoy a night to themselves.
Both events are led by Good Shepherd Kids staff and high school youth, with proceeds supporting our high school youth summer travel experiences.

Good Shepherd Family Events
Good Shepherd Family Events bring families together throughout the year for meaningful moments of connection, joy, and faith. From fall kickoff celebrations and orchard outings to winter GLOW Nights, our Easter Egg Hunt, and more, each gathering offers fun, interactive, and kid-friendly ways to grow in community and faith together.
Whether you’re new to Good Shepherd or have been part of our community for years, there’s a place for your family to connect and belong!

Good Shepherd Family Resources
New resources are available at both campuses including sensory kits, worship activity bags, and visual schedules/social stories; to help children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged during worship. Families can find them near the Good Shepherd Kids check-in centers.
Praygrounds & Family Lounges
We love having children join us for worship! Within our worship spaces at both Verona and Madison campuses we offer play spaces called "praygrounds" for children to use during the worship services.
If you need to step out of the worship space at any time, we offer family lounges equipped with toys and live-streaming of worship.
