Good Shepherd Bee Team
Care for Creation
God calls all people of faith to care for God's amazing creation. We take that seriously and want to help pollinators, like bees.
Honey Harvest
In 2021, our first year beekeeping, we harvested 2.5 gallons of honey.
How does a garden grow?
Bees and other pollinators are essential in the garden. Almost 75% of global crops depend on animal pollination.
Beekeeping
We regularly check our hives on Wednesday evenings during the summer months, so whether you want to join the bee team on a regular basis, just learn more about bees or observe the bee team at work, we'd love to have you join us!
No Mow May
The city of Verona and our church is participating in No Mow May to help support pollinators. You are invited to join in and help the bees.

Queen Bees
A queen honeybee can lay up to 3000 eggs per day! That is more than her body weight.
Save the bees
Over the past 15 years, the honeybee population has been in decline. Want to do something?
