Good Shepherd Bee Team
Care for Creation
God calls all people of faith to care for God's amazing creation. We take that seriously and want to help pollinators, like bees.
Honey Harvest
In 2025, we harvested 7 gallons of honey to donate to the Good Shepherd Food Pantry.
How does a garden grow?
Bees and other pollinators are essential in the garden. Almost 75% of global crops depend on animal pollination.
Beekeeping
We regularly check our hives on Wednesdays during the summer months, so whether you want to join the bee team on a regular basis, just learn more about bees or observe the bee team at work, we'd love to have you join us!
What can you do to help the bees?
We are still learning a lot about how to help bees and other pollinators.

Queen Bees
A queen honeybee can lay up to 3000 eggs per day! That is more than her body weight.
Save the bees
Over the past 15 years, the honeybee population has been in decline. Want to do something?
