Our faith journey is a race, not a sprint but a marathon, encompassing numerous twists and turns. It calls for preparedness, dedication and an intentional shedding of the burdens that hold us back from fully participating in God's divine plan. This fall, I invite each of you to consider how you can contribute to our shared mission, fortifying both our church and the broader community.
The theme "Ready, Set…Grow!" serves as a rallying cry for us to prepare our hearts ('Ready'), position our resources ('Set'), and then leap forward in faith and action ('Grow'). Your generous offerings—be they of time, talents or treasure—allow us to collectively run this race, serving as the hands and feet of Christ in a world that is desperate for hope and compassion.

Thank you to all Good Shepherd members who have accepted the invitation to give by turning in their 2024 Intent to Give cards. So far, we have received 0 cards and 0% of them indicate an increase in generosity for next year. In fact, our expected increase next year from all recurring givers is $9.87 per week. So far, we are 0% of the way to reaching our goal of increasing our giving by $100,000 next year. As you begin to discern your commitment for next year, we hope you will join the generosity of these leaders.
