Serve with the new HR Committee
Providing additional support and resources for our pastors and staffThe newly established HR Committee is looking for volunteers
The first step in the process is to gather names of interested congregational members this month. Then an interviewing process for selection will follow.
The required profile for committee members includes:
- Human Resource and/or management experience;
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills,
- Empathy, responsiveness, and ability to hold information confidential.
If you feel you have the skills and experience required and have interest to become a member of the committee or if you have additional questions, please send an email to Rachel Breitbach (rbreitbach@sbcglobal.net) or Deni Naumann (deninaumann@gmail.com) who are on the HR Committee Task Force by no later than September 30th.
Additional information about the HR Committee:
- The formation of this committee was shared at the July Annual meeting.
- The purpose of the committee is to provide additional support and serve as a resource to staff to ensure an environment where they can thrive, grow and support the mission of Good Shepherd
- We are getting this revised committee in place now to ensure our current pastors, interim lead pastor and staff have the support they need as we are going through our transition to a new lead pastor.
We also ask the congregation to please pray for this new committee as we implement it.
