Thank You For Helping Souper Bowl XXIII Surpass Goal

2,051 Cans of Soup Donated to Three Local Food Pantries

Helping Tackle Hunger in our Community

Thanks to ALL of You on the Good Shepherd Team who joined the fight to “tackle hunger” in the Madison & Verona Communities, we surpassed our goal of 1,690 cans of soup, with an amazing Souper Bowl of Giving 2,051 cans of soup donated. Thanks to all who put money in the soup pots, the church school offerings and donated online.  The current amount is $ 1,297.  All of these donations will be used by the food pantries in purchasing other needed food items.  Your financial support of the Souper Bowl is greatly appreciated!

All the soup and money is divided between the Good Shepherd, Allied and Badger Prairie Food Pantries to help feed hungry families who rely on the food pantries.

A special thanks to the volunteers; including the Bach, Jenny Johnson, Wagner and Steve & Betsy Johnson families; the pastors, church staff, worship assistants, 4K & Little Blessing Pre-school, church school and AMPED students who helped make Souper Bowl XXIII so successful in the fight against hunger.
