Look Forward to a New Twist on Advent by Candlelight
Come join us at Verona campus on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. for Advent by Candlelight. This is a meaningful tradition that’s making its way back to Good Shepherd. We’ll gather in the sanctuary around beautifully set tables to usher in this sacred, special, contemplative season. This is an excellent way to center oneself for Advent. We’ll read scripture. We’ll sing carols. Storytellers will share with is what Advent means to them. We’ll also share devotional materials that could be a good anchor for you in this holy season.
In years past, when you stage a table, you’re also responsible for filling that table with guests. This year, we want to widen the circle and gather with friends old and new, so everyone is welcome to come, and you will be assigned a table when you arrive on the evening of the 7th.
