Human Trafficking Awareness Training

On January 24th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. there will be a Human Trafficking Awareness Training in Peterson Hall at the Madison campus. Learn how this issue affects us all and what you can do to help curb the problem.

Member, Diane Hanson, Founder of United Madison, and in partnership with Zeteo Community, will be providing a free training on Sex Trafficking/Commercial Sexual Exploitation on January 24 from 6:30-8pm in the Peterson Hall at the Madison Campus.

Trafficking is a significant issue happening in Madison and it does look differently than what we might expect. The training will cover the following:

  1. What is Human/Sex Trafficking
  2. What are the signs/red flags
  3. How to prevent trafficking
  4. How to help victims of trafficking
  5. Organizations involved in supporting the cause.
