Dottie Loehrer Funeral Visitation and Memorial Service

Dorothy Carol Loehrer, age 94, of Madison, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in her Madison home. She was born on March 16, 1929, in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of Fred and Minnie Holz. She married John (Jack) Loehrer on July 2, 1955.
Dottie had a long and varied nursing career in patient care and as an instructor. She was a very active volunteer in church, school tutoring, and her community. Dottie’s passion was ballroom dancing.
Dottie is survived by daughters: Gail (Brian) and Linda Loehrer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and special friend, Charles Murray. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband, Jack; son, Ken; and daughter, Carol.
Funeral visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road in Madison on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM.
Additional visitation and funeral will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Road in Madison. Visitation is at 10:00 AM, Service at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon.
