High School Ministry

High School Ministry at Good Shepherd

High School Ministry is deeply relational. Together we explore big questions about what it means to be a person of faith in an ever-changing world. We understand that holiness is experienced both in still quiet moments and large community experiences. Through conversations, stories, activities, and adventures, we ponder faith in our daily lives and in a global context. God is big, Jesus is Truth, the Spirit is moving. Come as you are, you are welcome here.

Join us every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 7:00pm at our Verona Campus for Youth Group. Different activities and conversations each week. All are welcome at this community practice project. This gathering pairs well with our 6:00pm worship service. A Holy pause followed with some fun fellowship is a great way to start your week.

Breakfast Meet-ups

With school right around the corner - what better way to kick the year off than by gathering? Near the end of September Sarah will be coming to the Middleton, Memorial, and Verona areas for breakfast. This is a great opportunity to get to know other Good Shepherd members who attend your school you may not have met yet. Breakfast will be provided. Dates and locations are as follows:

Vel Phillips Memorial - Monday, September 21st at Panera (6637 Mineral Point Rd) starting at 7:15am.

Middleton - Thursday, September 24th at Firemans Park starting at 7:40am

Verona - Monday, September 28th at Kwik Trip (233 Wildcat Way) at 8:15am

Feel free to reach out to Sam or Sarah if you have any questions!

You Make it Possible

Fundraising is an essential part of Youth Ministry. It is what helps make our seasonal trips and activities possible. Volunteering at one or many of these options is a great way to continue to connect, share in new experiences, and learn more about yourself and others!

End of Summer Blessing

Darkness comes earlier now,

The fruit trees are ripe.

The fields are harvest ready,

The animals hear their call to migrate or hibernate or nest make.

Creation knows and trusts the rhythm of the Creator.

May we too move through this seasonal change trusting the Creator’s presence and provision.

May we learn to dance on shifting ground, release what is ripe, and keep the sabbath beat.

In our living and our giving,

In our growing and our harvesting,

In our resting and our returning,

May we trust the faithfulness of God
in our unfinished,
unfolding lives.
