Become a Prayer Partner for our Youth Travelers
This August, 35 Good Shepherd high school students and five adult leaders will head to the Rocky Mountains for a week of faith, community, and adventure. As they spend time together growing in their relationships with God and one another, we invite the entire congregation to be part of their journey through prayer.
One meaningful way to support this trip is by becoming a Prayer Partner. Prayer Partners are paired with one student or adult leader and commit to praying for them before and throughout the week of the trip. Before the group departs, you’ll receive a personal note from your traveler sharing a little about themselves along with specific ways you can pray and encourage them.
Your prayers are an important reminder that our congregation is walking alongside them, even from afar. Whether you’re praying for safe travels, meaningful conversations, spiritual growth, or unforgettable experiences, your support helps surround each participant with the love and encouragement of the Good Shepherd community.
The trip will take place August 1–7, and we’d love to have enough Prayer Partners so every traveler knows someone is lifting them up throughout the week.
If you’d like to become a Prayer Partner, please contact Sarah Iverson at siverson@gslcwi.com. Thank you for helping support our students and leaders as they embark on this meaningful week together.
