Creating Space for All at Verona Campus

A New Space of Welcome at Verona Campus

As a part of our continued commitment to live into our church’s Welcome Statement, we continue to improve our spaces, so they are truly welcoming for all. At Verona Campus we are converting our nursery space into a multi-purpose meeting space with a new all-gender bathroom.

We will be painting, installing new carpeting, adding additional furniture and a new tv to create a lounge space. Most importantly, we are updating the bathroom with a full-size toilet and changing table, so it can be a usable space for families, caregivers, those with mobility challenges and our LGBTQ+ members and guests. They created a new opening from the main hallway across from the current bathrooms and walled off the two doors inside the room. Soon this space will be available for small groups and anyone looking for a relaxed meeting space at our Verona Campus or in need of a private bathroom.
