Be the Reason a Third Grader Smiles

Good Shepherd is once again partnering with Orchard Ridge Elementary School, located just a few blocks from our Madison campus, and this year we’re excited to launch a Pen Pal Program with their third-grade students. We need 40 pen pals to help make this connection a success.

Being a pen pal is a fun and meaningful way to build a relationship with a child while encouraging their writing skills and confidence. Each month, you’ll exchange just a few short paragraphs—enough to share stories, ask questions, and brighten a young student’s day, without a big time commitment.

Both adults and high school students are encouraged to participate. Your words can inspire, encourage, and bring joy to a child right here in our community.
