New Worship Resources for Children
Beginning September 13, new resources will be available at both campuses to help children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged during worship. Families can find them near the Good Shepherd Kids check-in centers.
Sensory Kits
Sensory Kits include tools that may help children with sensory needs, big emotions, focus, or emotional regulation. Each kit contains headphones, regulation strategy cards, timers, and fidgets.
Worship Activity Bags
Worship Activity Bags give children hands-on ways to engage in the service. Each bag includes coloring books, crayons, a stuffed animal, books, and a child-friendly worship outline.
Visual Schedules and Social Stories
Visual schedules and “I Can Go to Church” social stories can help children prepare for their time at church. These resources introduce common routines, spaces, and experiences so children can better understand what to expect.
All of these resources are available for any child to use as needed. After worship, please return borrowed items to their designated bins so they are ready for the next child and family.
We hope these resources help every child feel welcomed, supported, and able to participate fully in our church community.
