Fiction Living as Truth | Pastor Dara Schuller-Hanson | November 1, 2026

On All Saints Day, we are reminded of a surprising and beautiful truth: God’s blessings are not for the powerful and privileged, but for the mourning, the meek, the merciful, and the marginalized. In the Beatitudes, Jesus turns our expectations upside down and declares that the ones the world writes off are the very ones God lifts up. And the good news does not stop there. As saints, as sinners redeemed by grace, we are not just recipients of God’s blessing. We are the means through which those blessings take shape in the world. You are salt. You are light. Go be that today.
