“Made in America” Concert Series comes to Madison
On Friday, November 2, we welcome the 75 member Augustana College Symphonic Orchestra (Rock Island, IL) to Good Shepherd for a concert at 7:00pm (Madison Campus). Through the music of Joan Tower, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and George Gershwin, the Augustana Symphony Orchestra explores what it might mean for music, composers, and cultures to be made in – and by – America.

Your help is needed! Please contact Diane Kohrs (dkohrs@gslcwi.com) or click the button below if you are able to house two (or more) students Friday evening and/or help with providing/serving a taco bar dinner before the concert. The concert is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be collected supporting the orchestra.
