Food Pantry Update on Donations
A New Phase for the Food Pantry Begins
The Good Shepherd Food Pantry has continued operations over the last two months as a drive-up pantry. We have continued to receive food from Second Harvest and Community Action Coalition, and have used your donations to purchase additional food at Woodman’s, Costco and UW Provisions. If you are interested in helping ensure food security for our neighbors in need, we are going to start taking donations during Food Pantry hours ONLY : Thursdays 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 5:30-7:00 p.m.
There will be a bin outside the entrance to the Madison Campus ONLY, where you can drive up and drop off your donations. We are especially in need of peanut butter, Hamburger/Tuna Helper, tomato products (especially sauce and diced), cereal, rice, tuna, individual snack bags (gold fish, animal crackers, etc.), cleaning products, dish soap, shampoo, personal hygiene products, laundry detergent and clean paper or plastic grocery bags. We are unable to accept clothing donations at this time.
Thank you for supporting this vital ministry!
