Happy 30th Birthday to Our Pipe Organ!

This spring marks a joyful milestone in the life of Good Shepherd: the 30th anniversary of the pipe organ at our Madison campus. Designed and built by the Holtkamp Organ Company of Cleveland, Ohio, the organ was first played on Easter Sunday in 1996. This beautiful instrument has supported our worship, our hymns, and our community’s voice for three decades!

Join us for birthday cake and a curated archival display in the Narthex featuring photos, documents, and stories from the 1990s organ project — a remarkable chapter of vision, generosity, and congregational collaboration.

This celebration is a chance to remember the people who built this instrument into our worship life, and to give thanks for the music that has enriched us for 30 years.
