The holiday season is a time for giving, and our Shoebox Gifts program embodies that spirit beautifully. This year, God’s Hands & Feet are blessed and thankful to have gifted 775 Shoebox Gifts to be distributed through the Shoebox Gifts program and Joining Forces for Families/RISE to families in the Madison area.
We are immensely grateful to all who contributed to this impactful initiative. Serve Boldly, a ministry providing mission trips for middle schoolers and parents, visited Good Shepherd in July and packed and wrapped hundreds of shoeboxes. Sarah Iverson and the AMPED & High School groups, along with Joanne Zastrow and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Sunday School kids, also played a vital role in packing and wrapping boxes. Finally, a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated items for the shoeboxes—your generosity made this possible.
Through this ministry, we are reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact. The shoeboxes are more than just gifts—they are a tangible expression of God’s love and hope, delivered to those who need it most. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this effort, making a difference one box at a time.
