January is Justice & Advocacy Month at Good Shepherd

January is Justice and Advocacy month here at Good Shepherd. In scripture, justice and advocacy are deeply rooted in God’s character and in His desire for how people should treat one another. As Christians, we are invited to take part in the ongoing work of God’s kingdom – a kingdom marked by peace, equity, compassion, and restoration. We are excited to welcome Homeless Services Consortium of Dane County on January 4th, Trans Medical Mutual Aid on January 11th, and Open Doors for Refugees on January 18th. Stop by the informational tables in the gathering space following worship to learn more about how we can live out God’s call together!”
