One Worship & Congregational Meeting | April 19

The Lead Pastor Call Committee is grateful to share that a congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, April 19 following a combined 9 a.m. service at the Madison Campus, where we will vote to call our next Lead Pastor. You will learn more about the finalist on April 17.  The Call Committee has taken seriously your vote of confidence to receive candidates, conduct interviews, and is excited for you to meet our finalist and take this next step together! Candidacy Weekend Schedule

Friday, April 17 – gslcwi.com/callcommittee

Noon – Information about the lead pastor candidate goes live on our website, which will include biographical information, a letter from the candidate, information about the candidate’s family, and an overview of the call process.

 

Saturday, April 18 – Meet & Greet | Verona Campus

2:30 – 4 p.m. – Meet & Greet: Come meet our finalist and our finalist’s family. The event kicks off at 2:30 p.m. with a prayer, an introduction of our finalist and some brief remarks by the candidate before a time of fellowship. This event is casual and will allow people to come and go depending on their schedule.

Sunday, April 19 – One Worship & Congregational Meeting | Madison

9:00 a.m. – One Combined Worship Service: Our finalist and our finalist’s family will join us for worship. There will be time for fellowship following worship. There WILL be unified church school in Madison.

 

10:30 a.m. – Special Congregational Meeting and Vote.

All voting will be in-person. There will not be a Zoom option available for this meeting.

Active, confirmed members attending the meeting are eligible to vote.

Childcare will be offered in Peterson Hall during the meeting. Parents who have children in church school at 9 must pick them up from church school before bringing them to Peterson Hall.
