Columbarium Help Wanted

Are you handy? Are you a DIYer?

The Good Shepherd Columbarium Board is looking for someone to help maintain our recently updated water feature, an important part of the Columbarium. No prior experience is necessary. If you are dependable and can use a channel locks, adjustable wrench and screwdriver you have all the necessary skills. No prior experience with water features is necessary.

Volunteer tasks include:

1. In the spring: installing the water pump, reconnecting the water supply and getting the water feature operational.

2. During the summer months: adding chemical to reduce algae growth and keep the water clear.

3. In early October: Disconnect the water supply, removing the pump, cleaning out the leaves and derbies and covering the area with netting.
