Good Shepherd Board President Transition
Dear Siblings in Christ,
Gerry Born, our Church Board President, has resigned from the Church Board as of August 1. Gerry has served on our Board for nearly 6 years and graciously offered to be our President to help us transition to a new generation of leadership. During Gerry’s tenure GSLC continued to implement the work of our Leadership and Vision Task Forces and guided the formation and launch of our upcoming Debt Reduction Campaign. We will celebrate and give thanks for Gerry’s leadership at our 2019 Annual Meeting in February.
In the interim, the GS Church Board has unanimously appointed Andrew Seaborg as the new President of the Congregation. Tom Golden has agreed to serve the remaining five months of his term as Vice President. Our Treasurer and Secretary remain Wade Huseth and Sara McCormack, respectively.
Please join me in thanking Gerry Born for his dedication and faithful service to God and the ministry of this church. We are blessed to have such capable volunteer leadership at Good Shepherd!
